2015 - 2016 S.1 Admission 

Applications for S.1 admission will be accepted in the following three periods:

Round 1 : 1/12/2014 - 21/1/2015

Round 2 : 2/2/2015 - 27/3/2015

Round 3 : 4/5/2015 - 10/7/2015

Form 1 Admission 

Admission Criteria

(1) Interview performance

a. Interview format

At least one parent/guardian is invited to join the student in an interview with two members of the Academic Board. Each interview lasts about thirty minutes.

b. Purposes of the interview

i. To discuss the student’s primary school learning experiences.

ii. To assess the student’s language proficiencies.

iii. To assess problem solving and thinking skills.

iv. To assess the student’s attitudes and behaviour.

v. To address any questions the student or parent(s)/guardian(s) may have.

(2) The student’s academic results in primary school, as shown on the Primary 5 and Primary 6 report cards.

(3) Teachers’ comments as shown on the report cards.

(4) Conduct marks as shown on the report cards.

(5) Extra-curricular activities and awards.

Making an application

(1) If you would like your child to join our community school, you are invited to   

download the "Application for S1 Admission (2015-16) form" from the school

website.

(2) Enclose photocopies of all of the following documents (Bring all originals to the interview) :

• School reports for the past two years 
• Applicant’s HKID card or passport (including those pages with valid entry permit and personal particulars) 
• Awards or certificates for extra-curricular activities and special achievements
• Principal’s recommendation letter, if any 
• Samples of the student’s Chinese and English written assignments 
• For non-local residents: Father’s or Mother’s passport (including those pages with valid working permit and personal particulars). Applicants must have the right of abode in Hong Kong 

(3) Include a non-refundable application fee of HK$30.

(4) Deliver the application by hand, fax or post it to:

(5) Write ‘Application for Admission 2015 – 2016b’ on the outside of the envelope.

(6) Please also include TWO stamped, self-addressed envelopes.

Application Results

The result of the application is usually released within a week. Parents of successful Form 1 Applicants will be asked to sign an undertaking declaring that their child will not participate in the Secondary School Place Allocation System.
